Quick note for the VCAN Public Access Army that we are participating in the following upcoming events:
(1) This weekend Sat-Sunday March 6-7th 10am-5pm come stop by the VCAN table at Bass Pro Shops in Hampton, VA and talk some public access, make a donation to the Lynnhaven Fishing Pier rebuild, and listen to some great BPS guest speakers like VCAN's own Jet Ski Brian Lockwood and master of ceremonies Capt. Don Lancaster.
(2) Saturday March 13th 9am-3pm at the Great Bridge (VA) Fishermen's Association 1st Annual Fishing Tackle Flea Market. Please help us raise some funds for our non-profit by donating some new or used tackle to us for this event.
(3) Friday April 16th "Paddle the James" in support of the American Red Cross (ARC) 1PM @ Huntington Park Beach in Newport News, VA. VCAN Member Lauren Grimmer will be paddling for VCAN in this ARC fundraising event. Our non-profit is donating $100 dollars to get her started and we ask anyone else wanting to help support her ARC adventure on the James to please let us know.
